Works Description
The Upper Fraser Hydro Power Scheme includes an intake weir, penstock, transformer, and powerhouse designed to generate electricity for 4,000 households. The pipeline comprised 4,000m of high-pressure GRP (1000-1100mm) requiring full concrete encasement over 123 bends. The final 950m of penstock is high-pressure steel continually welded in-situ on a 58% slope.
