Works Description
The development comprises a retail tenancy, a 5,000m2 Harvey Norman store, and a warehouse. Works included excavation of a gravel raft to 2.2m below ground level, managing 11,000m3 of soil, and constructing 5,579m2 of trafficable asphalt and 2,033m2 of concrete paving.
Geotechnical Gravel Raft
Construction of a deep gravel raft system reinforced with Tensar SS20 Geogrid and Bidim A19 Geotextile.
Pavement Construction
Delivery of 5,579m2 of DG10 chip seal asphalt and 2,033m2 of 180mm-thick trafficable concrete.
Environmental Controls
Successful management of high water table without mechanical dewatering through staged backfilling and fabric installation.
