Works Description
The Foodstuffs Hornby TCDC Freezer Extension project involves extensive site preparation, foundation work, and infrastructure upgrades. Works include demolition of a 150mm concrete layer over 3,393m2, 1,000m3 of earthworks, and subgrade stabilization. Foundations range from 400mm to 2000mm wide for freezer columns. Drainage includes PVC SN8 stormwater and uPVC SN16 sewer connections.
Demolition & Earthworks
Break out of 3,393m2 of concrete and extensive cut-to-waste and fill operations.
Infrastructure & Drainage
Installation of stormwater, sewer, and water supply networks including manholes and fire hydrants.
Pavement Construction
830m2 of asphalt surfacing with a DG10 wearing course, basecourse, and subbase reinforcement.
