Paul Smith Earthmoving 2002 Limited is a Civil Construction Company established over 25 years ago in Timaru. The companies head office is at 55 Sheffield Street, Washdyke.

The company was purchased by Tony Moir and Bruce Tinnelly in 2002 and Paul Smith Earthmoving 2002 Ltd was formed and is now a significant force in the earthmoving industry. We also have a branch in Twizel which caters for the Mackenzie District and more recently have expanded into Christchurch to help with the Earthquake repairs and demolition works.

Tony and Bruce brought with them an extensive experience in the earthmoving industry both having worked not only in New Zealand but also on large projects in Australia.

In 2007 we updated all our company systems and have gained Transit New Zealand Pre-Qualification and in 2008 ACC Tertiary Accreditation, our company are also members of Operate Safe and Site Safe.

We are pre approved contractors to the Timaru District and Ashburton District Councils and have a registered drainlayer for all drainage and water reticulation requirements to Council specifications.

This represents our continual commitment to consistantly maintain a high quality standard of workmanship, which we see as an important guideline for our clients and team.

In 2009 our company built a relationship with WaterGurus New Zealand Ltd in which we are now the distributors for: Waitaki, Waimate, Mackenzie and Timaru District Council Territories.
